About us

  • Arjun Kodali is an undergrad at New York University on the premed track. He is a part of the NYU Red Cross Club, a member of the NYPD Auxiliary Police, and an undergraduate researcher. His love for helping others stems from watching his grandfather aid impoverished communities in India as a child.  In high school he would go to underserved communities of Ithaca to tutor elementary and middle school students. The death of his grandfather during COVID pandemic due to sudden cardiac arrest made Arjun realize the paucity of CPR knowledge in his own family and in the Indian community, and got him inspired to brainstorm this project with a motto “one beat at a time”.
  • Vamsi Krishna Krishnamaneni (MBBS,M.D) graduated from Katuri Medical College with distinctions in 2023 and is currently doing his internal medicine residency in Florida. With experience working with patients in both rural and urban settings, he aims to leverage his skills to educate the Indian public about bystander CPR.
  • Lavanya Irugulapati Kodali (MBBS, MD, FCCP) was a graduate of Guntur Medical College and has been serving patients for more than 20 years in the United States. In addition to being a full-time pulmonary, critical, and sleep medicine physician, she volunteers in a rural free clinic. She also looks forward to serve in the US military as a reserve pulmonary physician. Dr. Kodali remains deeply connected to her hometown of Guntur by organizing free health camps, providing medical assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic, and offering expert medical advice to friends and family in need. Her expertise in critical care medicine has been instrumental in developing this project.
  • Sujithraj Dommaraju  (MBBS, MD) is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician currently practicing in the United States. He played a pivotal role in the development of this project. His medical expertise and strategic vision helped shape the project’s focus on delivering community-centered healthcare needs.
